AWARDS AND ACHIEVEMENT

The second best speaker at the East Africa Debate Championship held in Rwanda, Kigali in 2014.

Law students Associations of Moi University (LSAMU) best team and orator in a legal debate held at Moi University Annex Campus School of Law in 2016.

Participated in All Kenya moot court completion held at Kenyatta University School of Law in 2017.

Presided over the preliminary rounds in the Regional High School Debate Championship competition held at Sugoi Girls Secondary School in 2019. 

Participated in World Trade Organization (WTO) Moot Court Competition held virtually due to the COVID 19 pandemic in 2020. 

Attended a legal aid programee organized by Transparency International within Eldoret Region to sensitize the public on human rights. 

Participated in national and international essay writing competition among them: The East Africa Community (EAC) Essay Competition 2018, The Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) and Africa Regional Standardization Organization (ARSO) Essay Competition 2019, The United Nations High Commission for Human Rights (UNHCR) Uganda Chapter Essay Competition and the UONGOZI Institute Essay Writing Competition 2020. 

APPOINTMENTS AND WORKSHOPS 

Volunteered as an official in the national debate championship of secondary Schools held in Gigiri, Nairobi in 2015.

Presided over a national election in Kenya as a polling clerk of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) in 2017.  

Attended and facilitated the Law Students Association of Moi University (LSAMU) multidisciplinary seminar on legal practice in Kenya in 2018. 

Took part in the Law Students Association of Moi University (LSAMU) academic conference on “The role of courts in enforcing judicial decisions amidst impunity” in 2018 Presided by the Speaker of the Senate Hon. Ekwe Ethuro. 

Trained personnel in Gender Based Violence (GBV) prevention and protection in a national seminar held at The College of Health Sciences in Moi University Town Campus in 2018.

A trained as a peer counselor with duties by the University Student Counselor Department.

LEADERSHIP

A student leader at the primary school in the capacity of a class prefect and the Chairperson of the Debating Club.

A student leader at the secondary school in the capacity of a class prefect, dorm captain and a peer counselor. 

Served as the chairperson of the Christian Union of Moi University Annex Campus.

A youth leader at the Salvation Army Church in Kakoyi, Kakamega County Kenya.
