Then you also need a AdSense account where your address is needed so that you can get your money and for YouTube servers to know who exactly you are.

Then you can know upload your videos and photos to your channel 

But the most important thing is that you should be monetized before you start earning. This is achieved by getting about 4000 hours of watching and at least 1000 views in a period of one year. Then you would start earning from the number of views your videos get.
